Kanan Dhru
Founder & Managing Director

Kanan DhruKanan Dhru started RFGI keeping in mind the need for legal and political reforms in India. Having been associated with organisations such as McKinsey & Company, National Knowledge Commission (Prime Minister’s Advisory Body in India) as well as World Health Organisation, she brings with her the vision in transforming the nature of future organisations and how they can be made more socially relevant. A law graduate from London School of Economics, Kanan is the Curator of the Ahmedabad Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum and a recipient of many national and international awards. She also writes in several well-known newspapers and magazines.

Kelly A Dhru
Director - Research

Kelly DhruKelly Dhru graduated from Gujarat National Law University, and went on to complete her BCL and MPhil in Law from Oxford University. Kelly has worked on research projects with organisations such as the World Bank and Harvard School of Public Health, and taught at several colleges, including at Oxford University. She brings with her an insight into the nature and purpose of law. Kelly has been involved with RFGI since its inception, and is in-charge of the research wing.

Jainil Shah
Events Coordinator

JainilJainil is an enthusiastic young individual with a big vision to create socially relevant governance systems. He brings with him a vast experience in creating communities, organising social dialogues and reaching out to the young individuals. Jainil is also the Sub-Regional (South Asia) Youth Advisor to the United Nations Environment Program.

Anar Shukla
Creative Head

Anar is a media professional currently working in education research. She is a filmmaker, graphic designer and she enjoys photography.

Interns and Volunteers

RFGI is a truly vibrant and young think-tank where people from across the world have contributed to an enriching dialogue on law and governance.

Being an organisation predominantly working on the strength of interns and volunteers, RFGI has hosted interns and volunteers from over 15 countries in the world and from prestigious institutions such as the University of Oxford, Cambridge, the London School of Economics, Wharton, McGill University, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad among others.

RFGI has over 3000 members who contribute in different ways such as by participating in research, making financial contributions, organising events as well as reaching out to people through social media campaigns.
